Cross Stitch Antiques

Kathleen Littleton of Cross Stitch Antiques has been designing original samplers since 1998 introducing them to the national market in 2005 and reproducing antique samplers since 2016. One of her original designs, How Blest the Maid, was chosen by the Embroidery Guild of America to travel in their national exhibit Through the Needles Eye 2014-2017 to art museums and exhibit halls throughout the United States. She has been authorized to reproduce historic museum samplers for The Battle of Franklin Trust, the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, Tennessee and the Stephenson House in Illinois, the profits from which she donates back to preserve the historic sites. She offers reproductions from her own extensive collection of samplers dating from the 1700s through the late 1800s from Scotland, Wales, England, Ireland and America. Her favorite type of samplers are Quaker Samplers, Bristol Orphanage Samplers and those with lovely flowers and alphabets and a unique layout that pleases the eye.
