The inspiration for ‘A Sweet Memory’ came while giving my son’s old bedroom a fresh coat of paint. I discovered a small smudgy handprint on the wall that was left there many years ago. Not having the heart to paint over it, I cut it out of the sheetrock and then patched the hole in the wall.
