The inspiration for this mourning sampler was a saying on a piece of Victorian mourning jewelry. The saying touched me as I thought about family members and friends I have lost over the years.

Directions are included for ‘She will never die’ and an alternative gravestone with a skull and wings that was typical for gravestones of this era. An alphabet, numbers, and motifs are included for personalization.
