Endangered Species Club: North Atlantic Right Whale by Lindy Stitches

$12.00

From the designer —

This whale is one of the world’s most endangered whale species. Right whales were named such because they were the ‘right’ prey for whalers due to their docile nature, high blubber content & ability to float after killed. Right whales were commercially hunted to the brink of extinction by the 1890s. In 1937 this practice was banned worldwide, but the species has not recovered.
