Originally stitched with 5-6 skeins of Maison Sajou Retors du Nord (a 4-ply French thread). In lieu of this thread that we do not carry, 4-5 skeins of DMC 310 would work. A hand-dyed thread of your choosing would also be excellent for this sampler.
