NEEDLEWORK COMMUNITY

Emily Call Stitching: Once it’s gone, it’s gone as she will no longer sell to shops, .pdf only.

Shipping, Tariffs and the Like: Lots of confusion still on what exactly is the state of receiving things from outside the U.S. and what additional charges, if any, are involved. For now, we carry on. If things get ickier and stickier, will share that with you. Thus far, nothing has disappeared. There are orders from Needlework Marketplace that haven’t arrived yet and am hearing that they’re stuck in Customs, but at least they’re stuck in Customs vs. still in their country of origin. 😀

EVENTS

SAL: American Flag Quilt Sampler by Rosewood Manor v

Our 2nd meeting of this year-long SAL was just so much fun! Lots of progress from each of us. We are all at different stages and have chosen different paths in getting this done. This is the type of piece that is just so fun to stitch. Here’s a pic of some of the pieces –

We meet the 4th Sunday of each month, 5-8PM with the next session on Sept. 28. Subsequent Sundays are Oct. 26, Nov. 23, Dec. 28, Jan. 25, Feb. 22, Mar. 22, Apr.  26, June 28 (final).

If you join via Zoom, please watch for the call-in info. It is posted on Facebook several hours before the start time.

Change of venue for the Nov. 23rd gathering. We will meet at Appletree Fabrics Quilt Shop in Auburn, Home | Appletree Fabrics | 850 Southbridge St Auburn, MA 01501. This one session will be open to all even if you aren’t stitching this piece. Those that are, it’s a great opportunity to meet others involved in the SAL and share stitching stories of each state’s square. While their meeting space is much larger than Threaded Needle’s, registration is appreciated as folks from both shops will attend.
