GLOBAL NEEDLEWORK COMMUNITY

Perforated Paper – This has been an ongoing challenge to get in on a consistent basis since we opened almost two years ago. Example, In February, 2024, I placed an order for black perforated paper. To date, it still has not EVER come in!

Received an email from Wichelt, the sole distributor of said perforated paper which explains a lot. There is a change coming to this product. The best way to explain is to use their words –

No idea when we will begin to see this new product, but am hoping I love it, and that you all love it, as much as the current product. Stay tuned for more.

EVENTS

PAJAMA PARTY (Pajama Party)
March 13-15, 2026
Hilton Garden Inn Worcester, MA

THREE MONTHS until our first annual Pajama Party! Holy moly I cannot believe it. Time is flying by and this Pajama Party will be a dream. (See what I did there? :D:D:D:D)

Rooms are still available at the Hilton Garden Inn, but the special block with the lower pricing is full. We aren’t able to get more.

We will create a Facebook page for this event starting in January. Updates will be posted there as well as on the shop page and our website.

We have opened up a Saturday only option for those interested in that. Hopefully you can join us for just the day! Info on that can be found here – Pajama Party: Saturday Only (non-refundable)

Question from a stitcher: I’m planning my table gifts & wondered how many per table?

Answer: 8 per table as they are large, round tables.

Have a meeting in January with the Hilton so will have more information then. Will also take pictures of the meeting room for your viewing pleasure.

Coming: Mugs, Needle Minders (these will have the PP logo on them).

SAL: American Flag Quilt Sampler by Rosewood Manor

We met at Appletree Fabrics for our monthly gathering. So much fun to see all the quilters and different crafting going on. I sat with each person to learn their craft and man am I intrigued. So much incredible work coming out of both shops. I had such a blast that I totally forgot to take pictures. I regret that so much. Hopefully we can do this again next year as it was so much fun! Thank you to Ginny at Appletree for having us. Was kinda nice to spread out. 😀

We meet the 4th Sunday of each month, 5-8PM with the next session on Dec. 28. GOAL: Another 5 state quilt squares + another band.

Subsequent Sundays are Jan. 25, Feb. 22, Mar. 22, Apr.  26, June 28 (final).

Wednesday, Dec. 17, 6:30-8:30PM

Registration is required to attend; however, reading along because of your love of books is encouraged! If you can’t make it and have registered, please let me know so I can reach out to anyone on the Wait List. Book Club meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month with the following remaining 2026 dates: Jan. 21, Feb. 18, Mar. 18, May 20 (Not sure about April 15 as that’s Tax Day.)

We will be selecting our 2026 books at our December gathering. Have any suggestions? Please let me know as we’d love to read some of your favorites.

The library of previously read books is at the shop and available for borrowing. There is a 2-week limit although I do confess, we don’t charge late fees. :D:D

SUNDAY STITCH NITES
Next Stitch Nite is Sunday, Dec. 7, 4:30-8PM. There’s room at the table if you are looking for a fabulous night of friendship and stitching. If you’re previously registered and your plans have changed, please let me know sooner rather than later so I can reach out to folks who are waiting to join in. Last Stitch Nite for 2025. Can you believe it?

Wanna join going forward? Would LOVE for you to. It’s a great way to meet fellow stitchers, make new friends and surround yourself with goodness! You can register in advance. Just let me know to add you on which dates to make sure you have a seat at the table.

No fee, but registration is required so we ensure there are seats for all. We set up differently depending on how many are coming. There’s room at the table. Let me know if we’re setting a place for you. 🙂
