I love scouting around for old and beautiful items to love. One of my favorites currently is the deed box, a usually ho-hum, every-day item which sometimes was painted skillfully with flowers, scenic landscapes, animals and/or people.

This design is based on one such box. I made a few adjustments here-and-there, but love the bright flowers against a chalky background.
