A tribute to Abraham Lincoln. This little sampler features several motifs that represent our 16th President’s life and legacy. The axe, lamp, and cabin from his boyhood, the flag of the union he worked to preserve, a Civil War quilt block, the $5 bill and copper penny which feature his countenance, and last but definitely not least: his stovepipe hat. The four roses beside the Lincoln Memorial represent the four sons he had with his wife, Mary. This is a patriotic piece meant to celebrate Lincoln’s Birthday (February 12th) as well as President’s Day (February 20th, 2023). But, naturally, it will also fit in nicely with July 4th decor.
